Near death experiences are fascinating stuff, right? After all, we haven't been to the other side and really would love a preview, for sure. So Russell Thornton, an author of several books about the paranormal, is initially reluctant but subsequently fascinated by the story that a middle-aged lawyer, Audrey Sandersen, gradually unfolds for him to record and later produce in a book. The story resembles something of an Asian philosophy, something very, very different from the majority of mainstream American religions. The intriguing quality of the laws from the "Library of Knowledge" as given by the Source and connecting to Energy Units and Entities becomes alarming when Russell receives a powerful, real threat! The unfolding of this plot might be labeled somewhat typical and yet there's a chilling quality in Bonson's creation that carries the book along to the very end, along with a perhaps budding romance between the two main characters. Robert Bonson's books have a habit of leaving the reader thinking about alternative realities. This latest addition succeeds in that final effect as well. Nice storytelling, Mr. Bonson!
