MAIREAD WALPOLE

I am a project manager by day and a writer in whatever spare time I can find between kids, husband and resulting chaos. By way of educational background, I have an MBA; a BA with a double major in English and Music; an AAS in Paralegal Studies; and a Master's Certificate in Project Management, in addition to assorted coursework in intellectual property, contracts, statistics, biology, mathematics, business and technical writing, and finance. I am an avid reader and try to find at least 30 minutes a day to read something whether it is business related or for fun. My favorite authors run the gamut from Thomas Hardy to J. R. Ward; so as one can imagine, there isn't much that I don't enjoy reading about!

VIVIANE CRYSTAL

Reviewing books is one way of treasuring and eveloping the craft of great writing! I began my reviewing life with novels based on the legend of King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot, the Grail and the priests/priestesses of the enchanting Isle of Avalon. Yes, that's the background of my reviewer's name, Viviane Crystal!  In the real world I'm the proud mother of two sons and a delightful granddaughter, an English teacher for 15 years and now working in the legal field and tutoring. In my free time, I love taking early or late-day walks along the ocean, listening to all types of music, going to art museums and concerts or just enjoying a cup of coffee in a (where else? *grin*) bookstore alone or with friends. My passion is meeting a new challenge, whether working to teach better, write a better review, or helping someone else to discover his or her gift of creative, purposeful expression. Please feel free to contact me at literarymuse@hotmail.com if you have any comments or questions about any of the authors, books, or reviews on this site.
